I am one of the founding members of Kirkcarrion Gallery, and excited to see how it will add to the life and interest of Middleton, its community, and its artists.

As for me and my art, I am a person of many places (South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, London and now Teesdale), and many interests (psychology, ecology, spirituality and creativity), and these all find their way into my creative practice. It’s also why I don’t have ‘one style’ but like to play with different styles and different materials. It’s my hope that my work exudes energy, playfulness, curiosity, and in particular, a love of our beautiful home, Earth.

Outside of the studio I am a psychotherapist and spiritual director, a piano player and gardener, avid reader, and listener of podcasts (actually, that often happens IN the studio!)
