Saffie is a largely self-taught glass artist. After attending a glass fusing workshop and getting the ‘bug’, she has developed her work to create both intricate fused glass pieces and also leaded glass art. Her work incorporates individual handmade wooden stands and frameworks in which the glass is mounted.  She sells successfully at a number of art and craft markets in the area.

Saffie has outgrown the space available in her home for her art and is in the process of building her own studio in Woodland near Barnard Castle.
