Jo Myers
Based in the beautiful Weardale, County Durham, Jo rediscovered her love for art during the quiet of the pandemic. What began as a way to reconnect with her creativity has grown into a deep passion, especially for capturing the essence of animals.
Jo focusses on wildlife, both global and from our beautiful Dale, drawing inspiration from their soul, energy, and unique character. She works primarily in charcoal, using push-and-pull techniques to build texture and detail – it's a medium that allows her to really bring out the life in each subject.
Whether it’s the wild spirit of a lion or the haunting gaze of a barn owl, Jo’s goal is always to reflect the personality that makes each animal special.
