Robert works mainly in acrylics, but also pastels, and pen and ink. His ‘village’ drawings, portraying village properties in an unusual way, have proved very popular.

Robert is largely self-taught, but has attended several art courses over the years and developed his skills whenever time allowed. Since retiring, he has converted an outbuilding into a studio space and dedicates more time to his artwork.
